06 Sierra Dtc C0327

I seem to be recepient of the dreaded C0327 code for my 06 Sierra Z71. My diagnostic print out says it in an Encoder Circuit Malfunction. Does this mean I will have to replace the encodor motor, module (behind the dash??), actuator? I'm tired of having a 2WD Z71! I have changed the push button switch in the dash, but there is no change. Also, every few weeks, the light on the 4LO button will light up and I'll be stuck in 4LO until I turn the truck off and crank it again. Does this sound similar to anything that any of you have run into? I'd love to just have to change out the module (much cheaper than the motor). Any thoughts??

who told you to replace the switch?,

 

you need the little sensor inside the encoder motor assy,

 

take it to a GM dealership,they have done a million of them.,

 

it will cost you approx 1 hr labour ,
