Transfer Case Question

hi , I have a 03 chevy 2500HD with the 3 button NP1 263 Hd transfer case , My question is will the 263XHD transfer case from a 8.1 fit and work in my truck or is the output shaft size different?

As far as I know, they're pretty much the same case.
