Has anyone tried this? I need to keep the back seats so I was thinking get a second 40% seat and mount it on the driver in the back then pull out the center seat out of the front. This should give me enough room to build a custom setup that holds 2 big 12's (kicker l7, jl w7) something like that. Think it can be done?

im soory what kind of truck .. but to make things quick kicker l7 needs a big box . how ever you can run a singal 10 L7 ported in that area and it will move your windows ..nice L7 with a nice 1000 watt amp you probaly hit about 143 db ..

09 silverado crewcab. If I remember right l7 needs 1.0 cube ft per sub what's why I was thinking of building a box that went from front to back.

I have a 08 CC and I have a L7 10' with a 500.1 kicker amp. It sounds really good in the truck. A plenty of sub for me. Sounds like u are wanting a little bit more tho. Mine is in a custom made ported box that sits in between the front passenger seat and back seat and it fires towards the back. Thought I might fill u in if u would be interested in doing something along those lines.

See here's the problem. I used to work for circuit city and I had a killer system that I built into Tue back of a 03ford focus hatch back. It was 4 10's while keeping the back seat and It hit hard. Now I'm all grown-up but want some of the back. I was thinking 2big 12's or 3 big 10's. Do you have any pic of your set up? I would love to see it. It might help me with some other ideas on how to build this thing.

I dont have any pics of it on hand and I dont really know how to upload the pics on here. But i know for a fact that to fit 3 10's in the back of a CC is going to be hard without losing alot of the back seat. I know u can get 2 shallow 12's under the seat because the shop that I go to wanted me to do 2 CVT 12's but I like the sound of the L7 10 much better and I think it hits just as hard as those 2 12's would. But if u can imagine it, my box fits perfect in between the front passenger seat and back seat. The back of the box is angles so u can lean the front seat back onto it and it sits about as tall as the back seat.
