Ride Control 01 Denali

I message just came on in my Denali that says "service ride control" I am just beginning to research. Any thoughts on what may be causing this message?

Check the connectors on top of each of the dampeners, most common problem. Also check c450 for corrosion, should be behind the right rear wheel, there are corrosion problems with this connector ( all of the ESC circuits run through it.)

I think that could also come up if the bladders in the rear shocks have cracked to the point where the shocks are losing air more rapidly, and the system spits out the message. If that's the case, do a search, I just replaced mine on my 2001 YXL using a reman'd set I bought from Arnott Industries......

+1 on the Arnott recommendation. Bought front and rear shocks and a compressor from them. It has been over a year and all working great. I went with the Bilstiens for the rear shocks.

A fault with the level sensors will also trip that dash light. You have a level sensor at each corner. The rears are mounted to the frame rail just forward of the tires. The fronts are to the rear of the steering knuckle. Make sure they are still moving freely and check if one of the arms has disconnected from the sensor.
