Nnbs Center High Mount Light?

purchased an over hear utility rack but dont know where to tap into for the center high mount light system

 

the part number is gm 17802990

 

can anyone chime in and help me out

Not sure if it is your only option but near the back side of the 7 pin trailer connector you will find a blunt cut wire (blue if memory serves, which it does less of lately). The blunt cut wire is for a center light on a cap.

If its the stop lamp that your after on the 900 series its under the dash left side between the steering column and the park brake ,its a orange color wire with some other wires all taped together. The rest are for a aftermarket brake controller.
