Tranny Cooler And Lines

Leaking Tranny Lines Prob I have a 2006 2500HD LT LBZ 6.6 TD. Trying to change out lines. Broke neck off front cooler trying to get fittings out to replace with Husker lines/fittings. Replaced that at $175!!! Now the fitting at the bottom of the radiator leaks. I had taken both the old fittings off of the radiator and the cooler part in the radiator fell in. Had to take the radiator out to retrieve the cooler part. Finally got it lined up, put the husker fittings in, replaced radiator in truck, attached lines. Cranked it up and lower fitting leaks. My question(s):

1. Is(was) there an O ring that might have gotten lost in the part falling in?

2. Now that the engine has run, where are the O rings if they were there?

3. Can I buy new ones?

4. Do I need a new $500 radiator?

5. Why do people sell stuff with no directions?

6. Should I just have taken to the dealer in the first place???

Frustrated in Florida!!

Before you go out and buy a new rad, just take yours down to a qualified radiator repair shop. They'll get you fixed up for a bunch less. A new auxiliary cooler of sufficient size shouldn't have cost $175

There are no o-rings. It's just a conical shape hose (metal) that goes into the radiator. After the hose goes in a clip (a c shaped clip) goes in and locks it in place.
