whipple getting installed today.

Hi everyone. Just wondering if any of you have a whipple supercharger on your vehicles and what I can expect out of my truck. It is a 2000 GMC Z71 ext. Cab. Are there other upgrades that work well or make the charger work better like headers, MAF, etc. All input is appreciated.

I would do TOG headers before the Whipple, lots easier than after. Might want to open up the exhaust a bit and make sure you put in some cooler plugs like the NGK TR6's

sorry for such a late reply. what is the difference between TOG's headers and headers like Gibson or JBA? I know, kinda working backwards here on the upgrades, but i went for the Gusto first. Will i see close to 30Hp gains by installing headers since I have the supercharger? Looking for something that will make another dramatic difference. Possibly an intercooler set up...thanks.

I have a 454 Suburban with the Whipple along with Doug Thorley headers and Flowmaster exhaust. More air in...more air out!! It runs really strong. It actually made it fun to drive!
