Colorado/canyon Seats

I have a chance to buy front and rear leather seats from a new body style Colorado. Has anyone tried or does anyone know if Colorado/Canyon seats will direct bolt into new body style GMC/Chevrolet truck.

No. I have not.

 

But I did try same with a different brand.

 

My problem was that car I had - had front and side airbags. And the seats I got were from car that did not have side airbags. This car the airbags were actually in the seat itself. Anyway, I was told all sorts of potential computer issues may arise in this case.

 

Most newer vehicles if side airbags - the airbags are in the side column. Not seats.

 

As far as the bolt pattern for seats from different era trucks - I don't have a clue. Hope someone can chime in to help.
