looks about as good as the tractor engine i have sitting in my garage right now.  Piston and rod are shot

Here is the story:

 

We were logging some hard test miles when it happened (NOT motor related parts lol). Steven, our test rider, was at the controls at the time it blew. Those that heard it said it was wrapped up tight then snap crackle pop and that was it. It skidded about 30-40 feet before stopping. The connecting rod gave out at the wrist pin and went through the piston, sleeve, cylinder wall, two case halves and the push rods before exiting the motor. Needless to say, there is a big bore in the future for the little Rancher. We should have it up and running at the end of next week hitting it hard all over again.

That is the same exact thing that happened to me this past sept.  Sounded like i hit a log with the mower

ahh nothing a little JB weld won't fix ...lol
