Porsche Cayenne

With an expected 444 hp V8 and over 450 ft/lbs of torque this has got to be the baddest(production) SUV ever built! What do you guys think?

Paco I agree, when you buy a porsche you buy the name and you definatley pay for it . They are great cars but you really don't get a good one unless you spend 80k.

well, someone finally suped up a mini-van(what it looks like, just like the Benz- ML series), how bout that.....

 

The numbers do impress me, so does the engineering I've read about(remember, guys, I like those German cars) but a Porsche emblem on the front??? WHAT THE HECK?????

I'd rather have the new limited-production Porsche Carrera GT...V10 with 558hp, 600Nm (no clue what that is in ft/lbs), and only weighs 2700lbs...of course if I ever got one I'd end up crashing and killing myself in a week...

I flat out wouldnt buy one just because of their ugliness... If I had that kind of money there'd be more than one vehicle Id buy with it anyway...

They were trying to beat Acura at their own game.  Since Acura grafted the front end of the TL to the MDX and is selling every one they produce, Porsche thought it could graft the 911 front end to their suv and....

An Escalade killer??  PFfffttt, I think not!  I don't consider it an SUV let alone in the same class as the Escalade!

 

Escalade = Bold, in your face American excess!

Cayenne = Refined, subtle, reserved, yuppy, looks just like the Lexus next door driven by owners who are too busy worrying about their dot com business.
