Tailgate Nets

Hey Everyone,

 

I have a 2010 5.3 SLE CC shortbox.

 

Right now i can just get the tailgate closed with my Honda Recon 250 quad loaded in the back....with a couple of pushes on the tailgate, she'll close. I can get a reasonable amount of gear in around the quad, but leaving the gate open will allow for a little more room for those awkward sized/shaped objects.

 

I'd like to be able leave the gate open, but also load other gear around the quad (i.e. hunting gear, camping gear, ice fishing gear etc)

When not in use, roll up the net and store it in the cab.

 

So i'm looking into a tailgate net that will span the entire width of the bed. I've seen those cheezy ones that have a small net in the middle, then 4 bungie's connecting to the truck bed....ends up looks like a 500lbs lady wearing a size 2 string bikini.

 

Anybody have any recommendations on a tailgate net for the GMT900 truck?

Have you thought of an aluminum bed extender?

EDIT: Silly me, I didn't read all the way through... are there any that use the Cargo Tie Downs?
