6-speed 6l90 Transmission Filter

I am wanting to change the ATF and filter in my 6-speed transmission but am having a problem finding the filter at my autoparts store. The truck is an 07 Sierra 2500 NBS 6.0L 6-speed. Does anyone have a p/n for filter and gasket? looking for a kit with the rubber gasket.

Have you tried a NAPA store? Check with the dealer and get the GM part and cross it over. I found a listing for ATP B240.

I asked a while back about the PN for the 6l80. I think the transmissions are very similar, but I don't know if the PN is interchangable between the two tranmissions, but it is a place to start: ACDELCO Part # 24236933

I did check out Napa all I could find was a kit for the Allison and 4l60

I just looked it up on gmpartsdirect site since I was there for other reasons. It's the same P/N as the 6L80 P/N listed in an earlier post: 24236933. It includes the filter and the little ring-seal for the neck of the filter.

24236933 crosses to the ATP B240. Not a lot of choices out there. WIX doesn't have one for the 6L90 apparently.

Nope not to many at all. Oreillys didnt even stock them and like usual gave me the wrong one initially and had to go back a order it.
