Clay bars

Well I debadged my truck this week so today I started going over it with a clay bar. I got about half the truck done and man what a difference. The paint is so smooth you would not believe it. The light reflection is at night is perfect. If you have been thinking about doing this then think no more.

I did not get the whole truck done but between the wash, clay bar, and wax, it could easily take half a day start to finish. Depending on how much of a thirst you work up I would plan on a six pack for the job, then another six pack while you are standing around just admiring the shine. I got a Maguires kit which included the clay bar and their spray detailer. I paid $10.00 for the kit at Auto Zone.
