Shift Indicator Bulb On A 2002 Silverado

Could someone give me some pointers on how to replace the shift indicator bulb on a 2002 Silverado?

That would be a LCD.. you probably have a bad cluster. Very common on the 1999-2003 models

You may want to check your TR (transmission range) switch.

It is part of the PNP (park neutral position) switch.

The PRNDL displays blank if PCM detects malfunction in the TR switch circuit.

 

(PNP sw. is relatively cheap, easily replaced)
