Need Interior 12v Connection

I posted this in the "How to" section previously but failed to get any replies so thought I'd try this forum hoping I would get something to try...

 

OK electrical guru's, I need to find some way to hook up to a 12v, ignition on, terminal within the interior fuse box, what is the easiest way or is there one? I'm wiring a new electric gauge to the interior of my '02 but need a "hot" line, with key on, to hook into. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If, and only if, you're talking about your 2002, then I'd tap into the 12v switched behind the radio, that will handle that gauge no problem.

There was an easier way, rather than hooking into the Radio power line, what I did may not be up to date with the way it's supposed to be done. But I've got switchable power from the interior fuse box and now I'm in business, had to go back to the "old school" way to accomplish it though..... I'm pushing the 73 year old mark and just trying to keep up with todays better ways is a strain on me and my physical condition, so I do what I have to do. Gotter done no ways!
