Anyone know if the grille from 2008 1500 is the same as a 2500HD??

No. The 2500's grills are bigger and won't fit

They are not the same and will not interchange. The HD grille is taller top to bottom, you can tell by looking at pictures. Take a look on a dealer lot, you'll can see the difference.
