Cobra Cb + Auxiallry Fuse Block

For what it's worth I wanted to install a CB in my truck with the NOAA Weather Channels for when I go Bass Fishing. Most of the time I don't get good cell reception at the lakes AND the weather people out here aren't good at forecasting (been rained on plenty of times). Anyway, I didn't want to tap into my factory fuse box so I decided to also buy the Painless CirKit Boss Fuse block and install that as well. I have multiple mods that I've done to my rig so I wanted to isolate all those mods away from my factory wiring.

All in all it was a PITA to install the fuse block because I did everything to make it look factory BUT it was darn well worth it. The fuse block looks factory as well as the CB install and all my other mods are running like a champ. I really recommend adding the Painless Wiring CirKit Boss if you want to add more mods to your rig and not overload the factory fuse block.

The Painless Kit I used was the P/N 70207 and I got it a Four Wheel Parts on sale for a little over $60 (awesome guys here in Raleigh).

The CB was a Cobra 18WXSTII that I picked up from Amazon for a little over $60.

FireStik II antenna, StakePocket Antenna Mount, FireRing Coax, and the HD Spring all came to around $70 from CB World (good bunch of guys).

Total was a little over $225 with wire, connectors, tape, etc...

I think it was a good investment. Any questions about my install, let me know. I will try and post pics later.
