Rear View Cam Mounting

where does everyone have there review camera mounted. im debating on getting a licence plate one (cant find one ebay that goes behind your plate tho) or trying to mod something up that goes in the opeing above the reciever.

the ones that mount on the license plate are all over ebay, I got one with night vision for $17.51 on ebay look for it they come from hong kong and take like 2 weeks to arrive, I highly recommend it it works like a charm!!!

Are they the ones that mount on the face of the plate or does the bracket go behind the plate

With the plate cameras, can you see the ball when its in the reciever?

I bought the OEM tailgate bezel for a backup camera and modded mine to fit... Looks good to me.. Looks OEM unless you KNOW GM's camera is square and is completely flush with the bezel. You can't see the hitch BUT if I were to put a shim in the camera I could I'm sure..

With the plate cameras, can you see the ball when its in the reciever?

 

I have the PEAK plate camera on mine and you can see the ball. The kit also comes with wedged washers to tilt the camera if necessary but I didn't have to use any. Works great for hooking up to trailer.

Any luck finding the seller? And are you guys using an aftermarket lcd screen or I was looking at the rear view mirrors with built in screens.
