Side Molding Peeling

My side moldings/Trim is starting peel from my passenger side. I was wondering if anyone had photos of what it may look like if i just removed the black trim??? Really curious it seems to me that it would change the appearance.

'07 Classic has faded on pass side. Driver's side was repainted under warranty. I got lazy and didn't get around to complaining about pass side before warranty ended. But, now I have to have a rear panel fixed (dent, hit post, duh) and I told them to paint the trim as well.
