Hydraulic Body Mounts?

On my 2011 Silverado the brochure mentions hydraulic body mounts. What exactly are these? Also do you think that a 1.5" body lift would negate these or would they still perform like they should. My thinking is that the hydraulic mount still exists under the body lift puck so it shouldn't make a difference. Any thoughts?

I have a 2011 and I'm wondering the same thing. I think they would work the same because I don't think you would be removing the factory mounts just adding the pucks/spacers with longer bolts. Also wondering if these hydraulic mounts are new on the 2011s. I'm guessing they are because this 2011 Sierra Z71 I just bought rides super smooth compared to my last 2007 NNBS non Z71. I don't want to lose this smooth ride with a body lift if it involves removing the hydraulic mounts.

Have a 2010 Sierra and it has the hydraulic mounts too..... afaik GM introduced them in the `10 model year...

Maybe a good question for one of the body lift companies? I would think they would still work the same but would like to know for sure because I don't want to lose the smooth ride.

Hydraulic body mounts were introduced during the '09 model year in the rear most body mount locations (i.e. back of the cab) to negate the frame "beaming" feel that can be felt at times when the truck is not loaded, due to normal frame flexing. I wouldn't think that it would make a huge difference adding a body lift but its hard to say without trying it, myself to see the difference.
