AC DELCO Floor Jack In A Box

Doing the oil change last night and about to remove the last jack stand.  The jack has a small metal shaft with goes through the handle bracket, well it's coming out and the pin that prevents this is missing.  I try to line the shaft up back through the holes, but it won't.  My friend tries to take a look at it, but then realizes that the shaft that runs vertical from the base to the handle bracket has come out- thus leaving me with no lifting pressure.  Anyway, I head to Murray's after using the jack from the truck.  I don't have my receipt, but I take all my visa statements which have a line on them from stuff I bought there.  The lady doesn't even look at them and grants me an exchange.  I decided to get a regular floor model vs. the 1 in the case that I had.  This 1 is a 2&1/4 vs. the 3&1/2 that I had, but oh well.  It rolls nicer and seems more stable so far even though I haven't used it.  So I give a  :thumb: to Murray's.  May need to call the AC customer service # and let them know how the jack failed.
