I'm looking to replace the front pads on my 2008 Crew, 1500 4wd, Vmax. Can I trouble you to lookup the p/n for front brake pads?

OK,here are some part numbers for you...

On the OE for the front there are two different designs...

1ST DES - W/O PAD SPREADING FINGERS ON PAD SPRING CLIPS - Part#25918341

2ND DES - WITH PAD SPREADING FINGERS ON PAD SPRING CLIPS - Part#25918342

You also have a choice of a couple less expensive AC-Delco front pads...

Durastop ceramic - Part#19157524

Advantage ceramic - Part#19285993

For the rear..

OE - Part#25949454

And again a couple less expensive AC-Delco pad choices..

Durastop ceramic - Part#19159252

Advantage ceramic - Part#19286008

Rich, would those Durastop and advantage pads be similar to the EBC or Hawk Ceramic pads? My dad is looking to switch to ceramic at somepoint and I was just curious

Yeah I would say they would be similar,I haven't had any complaints from either one we've sold.

It seems the biggest difference between the two is the Durastop ones are D3EA certified,and the Advantage ones are not,however both are made with same compounds according to my AC-Delco rep.,its just the Advantage ones are not certified to keep cost down.

I'm taking off some Hawk ceramic pads I just put on about 3-4 months ago along with some EBC rotors in the front. I'm keeping the rotors, but those pads seem to be very dirty, contrary to their literature. My wheels turn black in short order. The rotors seem to be wearing fairly quickly too. I'm going back to factory pads as I never had any braking deficiency with stock brakes anyway.
