Factory Stereo Ipod/iphone Integrator, 2000+

Here's all you need to connect your ipod or iphone to your factory stereo. This will charge your ipod while connected, allow you to control the ipod using the radio controls, display artist/song title information on the radio, give you crystal clear sound quality, much better than using an FM modulator.

 

This unit also has auxilary RCA inputs, so you can connect another device, and will also allow you to keep your existing XM rdaio (Or add one).

 

This unit works on all ipods after the 3rd generation, and all iphones (See Crutchfield's Page for exact compatibility)

 

This unit is supposed to work on all 2000+ GM vehicles, but I have only used it on my 2006. The factory stereo MUST be capable of controlling an external changer or be XM ready for this to work. This will NOT work on the AM/FM only radio, and if I remember right will also not work on the lowest AM/FM/CD player.

 

This unit has been installed for approximately 4 years, and has not given me a single problem in that time. I took it out because I replaced my stock stereo with an aftermarket one that has a built in ipod control. This still works flawlessly.
