Change From Stock Length Shock? Need Some Info.

I am wanting to swap out my stock shocks. With as many miles as I have, 189,000 I was surprised to fined they are still the tennico stock shocks and leaking some. I turned up my torsion bars 6.5 turns and went up about an inch or inch and half in the front end. When ordering new shocks do I need to take that into consideration or is it so minimal it will not make a difference? Also, would their be a bennefit or problem, gain or loss, by putting a longer shock on the front?

No you dont need longer shocks with a torsion crank because the front is still going to top out on the stop on the down travel on the "A" arm. 6.5 cranks on the bars is way to much, 3 turns will give you the same lift as 6.5 wont give you anymore just a real hard ride.
