So last week on the way to work in the morning, just like every other day half asleep and dreading a day of sitting at the desk haha. anyways i come to turn a corner and i hear a noise then some big clanking and grinding noises. Im like ah for f*** sakes. pull into a parking lot and all my bolts were missing on my cv axle and it was just held on by the nut on the tire side. all 6 bolts gone on the diff side. So i got some nice chunks of metal missing in my a-arm and all over. cv axle still looks new. i got 5 out of 6 bolts in there now. One hole the threading is stripped to shit.

 

what was weird was there was no noises from my front end that led to that. least i was at a slow speed and not going down the highway with the family!
