This Sierra is the first Chev/GM vehicle I have had. Last few trucks have been Dodge. My last one..an 07 2500 CTD megcab laramie was my dream truck. The mod's and options were exactly want I wanted. But unfortunately the shop I paid to build it, didnt do the greatest work and it was breaking a lot in the last year I had it. After the tranny went I couldnt justify keeping it. You should have to pay over 60k for a truck and be spending thousands on repairs when its under 4 yrs old. Not to mention the 10g put into modifying it. Sorry...still bitter lol

Going to be back in a CTD when the 2013's come out and get it built RIGHT!

Anyway...heres some of my past and loved rides, post yours too! Love seeing car/truck pics!

First is my last truck 07 CTD and my bro's jeep ( which Im trying to buy from him!) and my old 04 Hemi 1500.

welcome to the site! i personally would stay away from chrysler products... the 2011 HD GM trucks are way better then the dodges.

My first new car was an 05 Nissan Altima 3.5SE. Loved the car, the V6 with a manual tranny made the car a screamer. I sold it when I bought my new truck, I miss the car, but no way she would move our new trailer  .

Honestly...if GM made a cab the size of the megacab Id be sold! That was one of the major things I liked about my Dodge.

Heres my Sierra today...with the rims and tires ( Metal Muslisha ProComps with Cooper Zeon 275/60/20's)and 2in lift. The grille is ordered, black mesh. And sending the bumpers to have the chrome powder coated, then get some nice headlights/tailights..then the outside is done. Minor performance mods like exhaust and a BD programmer are in the works too.

One thing I hate more than anything...is driving a truck that looks like everyone else. No fun in that.

dodge has always been my second pick behind GM trucks but the sad part is they just aren't that reliable...a guy comes into work alot with a mid 2000s cummins, tows a little single axle trailer full of boxes around for a job and he told me hes had to put 4 transmissions in it...its stock and hes a crotchety old man so i dought hes doggin it around town

Agreed. Other than the photo being a little dark, it looks good :flag:

I like your Sierra it looks good. I like the Cummins also. Get a manual if you ever go back to Cummins, then all you have to do is replace the clutch when it goes out. My buddies 2009 6.7 is a beast and burnt a clutch in 30,000 miles. He's not hard on it either just the clutch can't hold the all the torque when the boast kicks in, in 6th gear.

As far as the GM get a custom tune, programmers don't do the trucks justice. There are way to many Torque Management features in them and custom is the only way to get rid of everything.

I built him a ramp for my dodge. He is a Champion Stud ( yes, he has a great job lol) so I used to have to bring him to shows often to get his title. But he hasnt been in the new truck yet. I also rent vans sometimes to cart the dogs around...I have 2 of them.

Heres a few of my male...CH Lacelle's Big Mudder Trucker ( thats his real reg name lol) He is about 230-240lbs. And he is a lazy couch potato and extremely friendly to all animals and people and kids. He isnt a typical male...he has been snapped at by other males at shows and he ignores it. He doesnt have a mean bone in his body.

He does however do a guard watch when he thinks someone isnt ok to him. He hasnt had to act on it..but Im pretty sure if someone tried to do us harm, he would topple them over in a heartbeat.

Heres my female Harley..she is 7yrs old and about 215-220. Also a big sweetheart. She is very friendly too but is more aloof. Of course...being a female she is smarter LOL
