so i have a 99 silverado ext cab 4x4, 5.3L, 6" lift, 35x12.5 tires, 4.56 gears, Long Tube headders, no cats, flowmaster, K&N Cold Air Intake.... i was talking to a friend and mentioned him i was planning on buying a blackbear autocal.. and he told me to get a cam upgrade and a pulley kit first... so.. what is the cam i am looking for? thats the question.. considering it is my daily driver... i´m not looking to build a 12's supercharged hot rod or something like that.. just getting more power out of it.. and better mpg... can someone help me out here?

I swear I answered this question before, dejavu, But if your not wanting performance then you dont really want a cam unless you want to start diggin into the motor, from your setup, you should get a pretty good increase of torque and hp from the BB tune, My truck has an intake, and dumped exhaust under the bed with the crappy 3.23 gears  and I have two modes, regular driving and then performance mode which gave me I think about 240hp and 300tq, those results are from the dyno I did, could be more now since I did it right after the install, but my truck def will get up and go!

LOL its not dejavu! i post this topic in other category too.. not sure where it should go... thats why i post it twice... i know the tune will do wonders for my truck.. but still i want to do the pulley kit (is it a good idea? any one has done this?) and want to do some research about the cam.. went to a shop yesterday they told me to get a "econopower cam" or something like that.... not sure what that is....
