07+ Fold Down Console

I dont know if this is the right place to ask this, but Im sure someone will move it if I got it wrong.

 

I was looking at my fold down center console the other day and I noticed it is starting to crack on the lid near the hinges. I know this is a common problem for that generation trucks. Ive seen the lids on Ebay that are supposedly new replacements, but I was wondering if the 07+ consoles will fit in the older trucks. I rather like the extra storage options of the console with the 3 cupholders and the storage under the seat.

 

I wanted a full console out of the 03 - 06 models, but those are either all worn out, or rediculously expensive. So, Ide like to see about the newer generations of fold down seat/consoles. Anyone know for sure? As far as I can tell the brackets look similar, but I really cant tell since Ive never uninstalled one to look.
