New Cluster

Hi im thinking of buying a new cluster for my 04 sierra 2500. I wanted to get an escalade cluster with blue leds but i didnt know if getting a cluster from anywhere but the dealership would be a bad thing. I did some research and from what i can tell there are no problems with an escalade cluster working in my truck. The place im thinking of buying it says they put your miles and VIN into the cluster just like the dealership. So I guess what im asking is...are there really places that can do that? or do you have to go to the dealership?

Yes, many places can re-program IP clusters. You don't have to go to the dealer
