Everytime you feel the urge to add a performance goodie to your truck, put the money in a jar, instead.  In a couple of years, you can afford a real performance add on --   a supercharger!!! :thumb:

I saw a mileage gain on my '89 with the spacer. I have done so many other changes, I'm not sure of a noticeable power gain.

I do know the throttle body on my '89 runs ice cold no matter how long or hard I run it. :thumb:

Here is the lowdown: Helix bore is snake oil, the spacers add some hp, but not noticable (would YOU notice 2-3 hp?) they arent worth 90$ make your own, 50$ is almost too much, but hey I like every last pony I can get.... :thumb:

It helped with mine, I've read most places that it really helps on the old TBI motors.  Most of the guys with vortec and newer engines said that they didn't feel too much

Throttle body spacers only work with wet (carburated) systems and EFI has no fuel going through the intake and is a dry system. Fuel is injected at the intake valve and atomized on the hot valve as it goes into the cylinder.

Save you money.
