Rc Bl Rear Bumper Removal

Hey all,

I am installing a RC 1.25" BL. We lifted the cab yesterday and are trying to tackle the rear today. Couple of quick, maybe stupid, questions. I removed the four bolts to pull the rear bumper off, but the spare lock/tube is preventing me from getting the bumper off.

 

1. How do you release the spare release tube from the bumper

 

2. Also, what is the trick to getting the trailer harness released from the inside off the bumper. i cant find a release tab or anything to let it go

 

Any help would be appreciated

I found the 3rd bolt on each side holding on the bumper and got it off, but still cannot figure out how to release the trailer harness??

Got bumper off, cut brackets and I'm short two pucks for the bumper, crap.

i also had that same problem with not enough body pucks! i contacted RC and within 3 days i had two pucks and two bolts at my door! just go on their website (IF YOU ORDERED IT FROM THEIR WEBSITE) and talk to someone on their online chat and tell them that they shorted you...

 

if you didnt order from their website and did ebay or something, hopefully you will still get some help. i just finished installing the RC 3.5" lift, and have already installed their 1.25 BL. looks AWESOME!
