Tailgate mod

I came across a really nice tailgate band from a 1987 GMC for only $10.  My original tailgate band was pretty beat plus I always liked the looks of 1981 and later tailgate bands better anyway.  I pulled off the GMC letters and added a Chevrolet emblem from a 1997 and later C/K.  Then installed the emblem on the wrong side (for a Chevrolet) to cover up the holes left by the GMC emblem.  Chevrolet emblems are always on the right and GMC are always on the left.

That looks great. Pretty lucky to find that!  If I am looking too hard, I never run across something like that.
