The bed lift is the way to go if you have the facilities to do that.

 

 

 

 

I have done 2 of them in my drive way with a 8ft 4x4. Easy lift the bed with 2 friends, slide the 4x4 in with small piece of wood on the frame lever the bed with the 4x4, crib it up with a few pieces of wood swap out the pump. BE CAREFUL!

i have a 2002 sub 2500 8.1l and the pump goes out every 12-18 months 30k miles and i can drop the tank and change the pump in my driveway in less than an hour and a half all by my self
