Door Locks Issue

(Note; Sorry I am pressed for time to search if a thread was already started)

 

Lately when I use the remote to unlock the doors the drivers side rear door will not unlock to open.

 

This morning I got this email from my wife

 

The driver side both driver door and back door would not lock by pressing either the button on the inside nor the remote. I had to lock them manually. I also had to unlock the driver’s door manually this am.

 

Any idea what is going on?

Ryan,If this is on your Tahoe,Its probably the door lock actuators,This was a common issue on a lot of '07-'08 GMT900's

Also,The door lock actuators are part of the door lock assemblies.

 

Oh BTW,Next time........try searching

nice, I am out of warranty by 5 months

 

Whats all involved in fixing this? Maybe I will use the search now?

Just removing the door trim panel,its not really too hard of a job at all.
