A friend of mine has the RC kit and seems happy with it. I figured $1000. for the kit, plus his install cost, not that far from what I spent.

I did the install myself, right about 8 hrs. I like the fact CST retains the factory track width, and I like the sub frame and fabbed spindles in place of cast. Most of the other kits all push the front hubs out 1.5" on both sides.

That is an awesome setup! I've got a leveled 2010 chevy and been wanting 305/55/20 all along until I seen your truck, now I think I'm gonna go with 18's instead. It just gives it a completely different attitude.

after trimming do you have any rubbing issues?

Thanks. I prefer a little more sidewall hence the 18's. Very little rubbing on the plastic at lock, but only in reverse. I just live with it, not trimming anymore.

I have a set of 275/70-18's on the stock wheels I'll be putting on for winter I just hope they don't rub anymore then the 295's.

Thanks Steven, that is also my favorite pic to date, I just wish I would have closed the garage door. Maybe someday I can get truck of the month, not begging just hoping! :D

can you stack a leveling kit on top of this kit?

I'm assuming so but by doing that you may as well have bought a fabtech or something of that size.

Overall looks really good even though the lower airdam removed would make a hell of a difference IMO

The angles are level now so they should still be good with the level. The only reason I could think a level kit may not work would be the stock track width with the added height. All the other kits, 4,5,6 etc push the front width ~1.5" on each side. If I had wanted to go higher I probably would have chosen Rancho or BDS over CST.

the additional lift height while maintaining the factory track width shouldnt be affected with a leveling kit added

True, but this kit came with new upper control arms and I don't know how the clearance would be by adding more lift. I am thinking the other kits push the track out giving more clearance from any rubbing on arms or sway bars? The other issue may be alignment, one or two of my cams are almost at the end not sure which way they would have to turn. If I could find some re-indexed cams that would be nice for the future.

There is a guy on GMFullsize that is eventually going to add 5100's and a bigger rear block, have to see if he has any issues in the future. My truck is as high as it will ever be, no intentions of going any higher for me.

I have a 2011 White Chevy Silverado Crew Cab. I have a 4" ready lift SST kit in and I want to go with the same set up, 18X9 Fuel Throttles chrome and the 295/65/18 Duratrac. Elite Wheels has a ton of fuel throttles with slightly different specs. I saw yours had a 5" BS but what about the rest of it? Heres the website link for Elite Wheels. I also have a ranch hand grille guard, putco bed rails with the blinkers in the tail end, light bar under the tail gate, and buschwacker fender flares - the ones with the bolts, which I'll decide if I want to put them on after I get the tires and wheels on. Thanks for the help.

Nuke_1,

I would like to see a picture of your truck with the 275/70-18's and stock wheels if you could. I am planning on a CST or Rancho lift and will be running 270's and the stock wheels and wouldn't mind seeing what it will look like.

Thanks
