I have an 82 half ton with a 350 and 700r4 tranny. several times when I park the truck it leaks out at least a quart of fluid. The filter and gasket have been changed twice and also the tv cable gasket. It is as if there is too much pressure in the tranny and after sitting it pukes out the fluid. This isn't right after stopping and has even been the next day. Have bought a new tv cable to put in as that was suggested as old one has couple kinks. Any other ideas as the truck runs and shifts fine in all gears although does seem to chatter a bit in reverse.

Thanks

Or manual gear selector shaft seal. Or tailshaft seal

Front Pump vent...... ? Where is it coming from.... You should have some fresh fluid showing somewhere after it does it.... Be direct with where the leak is or around what...... always look from the front to the back and top to bottom.... never reverse back to front or bottom to top.

Front Pump, Transmission lines, Case, Pan gasket, Torque Converter, Pressure check plugs, extension housing gasket, Tailshaft seal, Governor cover leak, Speedo Cable, Shifter Linkage, TV Cable, Dipstick seal, .................. Right, Left, Top, middle, bottom, tail, where does the red fluid drip from?
