22's With 35's...help?

Hello everyone. I am new here. This is my first post. I am not new to forums and definitely not new to modding trucks. Haha. However I am new to Chevy's. I have mostly owned Ford's and Dodge's and my wife has always had the Chevy's. I still have a Ford F350 but also just bought a 2011 Chevy 1500 Z71. I am planning on a 6" BDS lift and 35's on 22's. I will probably go with the Toyo MT's. I have had a few sets of these and have been very happy with them. The help I need is on the wheels. Is the bolt pattern 6x5.5? What is the widest wheel and the best offset/backspacing? I want them to stick out some to make the truck look bigger. I want some XD Diesels but it looks like the only come in 11" wide on the 22's. Is that too wide? I also like the Fuel Hostages. They do come in a 22x9.5.

 

Also guys, just to throw this out there even though it is off topic...I have a friend that has the BDS 6" and his truck sits high in the front. I want mine to be perfectly level. Any options on that? Add a block to the back or something?

11's are really too wide and they will likely have a negative offset as well, which will make fitting 35's difficult. If you don't mind doing a considerable amount of fender work, then you can pull it off. The 9.5's would be better, but they are still going to rub some, so just get ready for the possibility of trimming. I have a BDS kit and mine sat perfectly level. Perhaps the installers didn't put the AAL in your buddies truck...

So do you think I would be better off going with 20x9's-20x10's? They make the Diesels in a 20x10 but it has 4.56" backspacing with -24 mm offset. You think this would work or stick out too far resulting in a lot more trimming?

x9's would be best. I am running x10's (4.5" bs) with 35's and I know they would rub terribly if I didn't have the extra 4" of lift. If you're not prepared to trim, consider an 8.5-9" wide wheel with a + offset, 33's, or going higher with the truck.
