2011 Sierra

my first GMC truck was a sport red 2004 Sierra, regular cab short bed. it had the 5.3 and the Z71 package. this truck was awesome, had all kinds of power. so i was thinking last night and got on GMC's website.

Im toying with the idea when my current sierra is paid off to buy either a new camaro, or mustang. probably just a lil 300HP V6 with a 6 speed manual. (dodge doesnt offer a 6spd manaul in a v6) if it wasnt based off money i would spend the 30+K we will see though

ANYWAYS, it got me to thinking about my first truck and GM's nice somewhat new 6.2 in the 1/2 tons. is there any reason why you cant get the 6.2 in the regualr cab short bed trucks? to me that would be the ultimate sleeper and would be an absolute blast to drive! it would blow the doors off those SS trucks and give probably most of the current sports car a tun for their money

multiple reasons

Probably the biggest is C.A.F.E. :dunno:

You put it in the most popular truck configurations which is the CC and EC

I was wondering that same question so I called my local gm dealer and he said a 6.2 could be specialy ordered through gm. Not sure is if was blowing smoke up my a*s or what . But i agree a reg cab with a 6.2 would be a blast to drive !
