285/60-18

buying some 18x9 rims and was wanting to get some 285/65-18 rims. I'm trying to mimic the great look of MasZ71's truck! I can save a good bit of money if I get 285/60. Is there a noticeable difference between two? I'll be installing my RC leveling kit tomorrow so i'm sure everything will fit fine.

Look on tirerack or discount tire for the tires you want. they should have exact specs.

done that. was hoping someone on here was running them. I'm more concerned with the visual impact.

I doubt you'll find someone with pics of both setups if your looking for a visual. I could be wrong but the difference in height would be an inch or less. Maybe someone will have some pics for you.

that seems pretty negligible. planning on getting vision warriors in 18x9 and was thinking about getting falken rocky mountains but may get the nitto terra grapplers

Here is a truck that i saw at work the other day with 285 60's. What i think the biggest difference is that you can get the 65's in 10 ply

the difference is a 31.5" tires vs a 32.5" tire. Extra inch of diameter..
