Model Identification

Quick question. I am trying to figure out what the "C" and "K" mean in some of the truck models? I saw a Silverado 2500 and it had the letter C/K in front of it... C/K2500? Is it both a C and K? Are there some models that are just K or some models that a just C? What's the difference and meaning? Also, is a C/K model a Silverado necessarily? I'm dumb, thanks.

C is 2wd and K is 4wd so depending what you have it will either be C or K
