Only Need 3/4" To 1" To Level Now

Now that my cap arrived and has been installed on my 2011 Silverado Crew 4WD, the weight of the cap has indeed caused the rear of the truck to drop. Prior to the cap I had roughly 2" of rake. Now the front is only about 1.25" lower than the rear. So a 2" leveling kit would raise the front a little too much. And I still want to keep a half inch-ish of rake for towing a camper and other trailers.

So what's a good leveling kit to bring the front up .75" to 1"? And since I am asking (after doing some searching), what's the biggest 18" tires I can squeeze in w/out rubbing or cutting? My "new" truck only has about 1K on the tires so I may want to get bigger meats while I can still sell my OEM 265/65R18 18" Bridgestones with a lot of tread left.

Sorry about that RBZ71. I was going to add this post to the one I did on the new truck and changed my mind at the last second. Thanks for redirecting it to the right area.

why not add a 3" block to the rear, and a 2" leveling kit to the front? you will gain some of the factory rake back and be able to use a 2" leveling kit

They sell 1" leveling spacers on ebay. They are cheap and work just fine. The problem is 1" isnt going to allow you to clear any tires bigger than OEM size.

IF you want to run a 2" level kit I and you tow, I would recommend an Add-a-leaf instead of the rear block. Give you the height back and also keeps the bed from sagging when its loaded or towing.

Using a taller block iinstead of AAL will also give you the level back you need to run the 2" level spacer, but wont strengthen the rear, however some say that the AAL makes the ride rougher. I didnt notice with mine.
