Overheating/no Hot Air, Need Advice On Burping

I have a '96 chevy suburban 1500 5.7L. I just replaced the lower radiator hose. I then filled up the radiator and overflow tank to the "hot" level. I have started the suburban with the radiator cap off, constantly topping it off, I have squeezed the upper and lower radiator hoses multiple times during the process of letting the engine warm up and cool down, I would say around 7 times. I am at a loss on how to get the air bubbles out of my system. I'm assuming my thermostat and radiator cap are both good as the chevy would run at correct temp prior to replacing the lower radiator hose. Any help would GREATLY be appreciated, the next step is taking it to the mechanic.

Everybody has hastles trying to get air out of cooling systems....wanna know an easy trick? Go take it for a 5-10 minute drive, watch your temp gauge to make sure you dont overheat, come back and top up. I used to be a mechanic and have bled hundreds of cooling systems this way without problem.

What I usually do it open the rad cap or res cap, depending on what year truck you have, make sure your truck has been warmed up a little bit, then squeeze all the hose's and you should see the bubbles jump up or hear them. Worked for me when I recently did my truck's coolant
