TheTrueMoron Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 I have my lockout switch on so that other people won't roll down my windows and do stupid drunk things but the passenger side front window still works with the lockout switch on. My friend said that new vehicles are done that way for whatever reason. Is this true, or is my switch not working right? 2011 1500 Crew Cab, BTW.

They are a child lockout....usually only lock out the rears so the little buggers dont play the "up, down, up, down, up, down" game!
jimbrown1 Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 The GMT-800 features locked out the pasenger and rear windows but that is not the case on the newer trucks. Only locks out the back windows on the crew cabs.
old-chevy-dude Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 yeah this annoys me as well.. when I lock the windows I want them ALL locked..
