07 Silverado Jet Mass Airflow Sensor

Has anyone tried a Jet Perfomance Mass Airflow sensor in there 07-10 silverado. I was wondering if you actually get any gains as far as horse power or fuel mileage? I am mainly interested in fuel mileage and I already have a K&N cold air intake, JET throttle body spacer, Corsa exhaust and Hypertech max energy programer. I feel that if there are any gains they would be minor and probably not worth the money they want for one. Any opinions on this would be appreciated.

Well, there's plenty of examples of it not helping and actually hurting performance over the stock MAF sensor. I wouldn't waste your money on it

Thank you for the input, I figured it was a waste of money.

waste of money over the stock one. And the throttle body spacer? I hope you got it for free because I promise you that it's making you lose efficiency.

What type of gains and advantages did you get from your programmer??

I just installed it Friday so I am not sure yet as far as gas mileage. Power has increased and I really like how fast the transmission shifts now, very crisp.

After doing a little research on this forum I see that TB spacers are a waste of money, blame me for being the newbie I guess, but do they actually hurt performance or is it that they just don't do anything. I guess I am wondering if i should remove it or not.

First off, welcome to the site. I was not trying to bash you at all. You will see that the TB spacer topic on here draws a lot of attention. If the spacer did anything to help with performance and especially economy, then they would be on from the factory. If it were me, I would remove it.

I know you were not trying to bash me, but I know how it gets annoying when the same question constantly gets posted by newbies who don't search for old thread first so I was calling myself out on that :fume: , but I really didn't know they were a bad thing. I'll run the truck through a tank of gas and then remove the spacer and compare them. My gas mileage has increased but I put in the exhaust, cold air intake and TB spacer all at the same time so I don't know if it hurting or help the mileage. Most likely not helping from what I am reading. Thanks for you input bud.
