How To Install Aftermarket Amp?

Hi,

 

I have an 04 chevy 2500 crew cab with a bose system in it, i have installed an aftermarket head unit and would like to know what the best way to install an aftermarket amp and subs while still using the bose system?

all you need to do is on the back of the deck there is an power antenna wire or on some decks they call it the amp wire, run that wire to the signal port on the amp then there is the 2 rc wires that just plug them into the deck they should be color coded and run them back to the amp, i put my amp under the back seat and i ran my wires down under the kick panel on the floor and i ran my main power wire from the battery under my truck and up though the floor

 

iv done this on a few trucks and as long as you already have the after market deck its supper simple

my head unit has six rca plugs on the back of it Left & Right Front, Left And right Rear and sub. so what you saying is to run the wires from the sub output on the radio to the amp? correct. makes sense, ive seen other ppl say you need to piggyback on to the output of the bose amp and run the the amp.
