dlewis1111 Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 HI. I JUST PURCHASED A 2011 SIERRA CREW CAB SLE AND WANT TO KNOW IF I CAN SWITCH TO A FACTORY INSTALLED BOSE SOUND SYSTEM. IF SO, HOW? WHERE TO BUY IT? HOW MUCH WILL IT COST? THANKS FOR THE HELP, JEFF All caps are very hard to read. Dont wast the money on the Bose. For the price, you can build a much better sounding system than the Bose. I think GM is putting Bose symbols on their normal junk speakers.
RockySierra Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 The only Bose sound system that I really liked was in my 2005 Sierra. That thing was loud and actually pretty decent. I am very disappointed in the premium sound system (with navigation) in my current 2008. If it were not for me liking the factory navigation/radio screen so much, I'd certainly upgrade to something different.
wottenad Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Forget adding Bose if it didn't already come with it - it would be easier to buy another truck! You'd need the Bose amp, subwoofer, and new electrical harnesses for the entire truck. I second the idea of just going aftermarket if you don't have a million dollars to spend...
