Vehicle-2003 GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax. ~220,000 miles.

Problem: I was on my way out to pick up a pizza. When I was walking across to my truck, I accidentally hit the alarm button on my keyless remote. When I got in the truck, I inserted the key to turn off the alarm and it stopped. Now it will not start. It made a clicking sound, all the gauges on the dash went dead, and it never even attempted to crank. Now, less than 1 hr later, the batteries are going dead for no apparent reason. I have disconnected both batteries, while I am in here typing this. The security light is not on either. Something is drawing them down even with the key off. It has no codes according to my PPE programmer. I have checked the fuses and none seem to be blown. What the heck is going on? :)

Got it started after doing the passkey reset and a jump start. I think I was so embarrassed by the alarm going off, I must have locked the truck down. It seems like the glow plugs/fuel pump were also switched on until I disconnected the batteries for a while. I dunno, electrical gremlin. Truck has restarted with no trouble codes on the scanner without a jump since then. So hopefully I am good now. And a stuffed crust meat lovers pizza is on hand. So, after a little trouble, life is good. :)
