Autocal Case

I like to keep my AutoCal in my vehicle console loaded with the stock tunes. I found this portable GPS case that the AutoCal fits into perfectly. Not to big and protects the unit. I put the AutoCal in one pocket and the OBD-II port cable in the other pocket. Just thought I would share. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Swiss+Gear+-+G...p;skuId=9808493

I don't know where you live, but being stored in a hot car in the summer time couldn't be good for it. Plus if your car gets broken into your out the cost of the auto cal as well as your factory tune...just a thought.

There are plenty of electronics such as ECM's and TCM's built into vehicles plus radios, GPS systems, DVD players etc. that are not bothered by heat or cold. Even Black Bear performance in describing the AutoCal on their site says "Small, lightweight design can be easily stored in a glove box or storage area for quick tune change."

As far as being stolen, that is a risk I'll have to take. If my vehicle breaks down such as a transmission failure it is not likely to be in my driveway. Maybe even out of town. I can't return it to the stock tune before being towed to a dealer if the Autocal is at home.
