Hypertech Econ 06 2500

I am wondering if anyone has tried the new hypertech econ programer on there rig. If so dose it work. Or if there is a better tunner that works. I have a 06 2500 4x4 crew cab mostly stock. i am more interested with fuel milage gain over power gain.

Spend the little extra and contact Black Bear for a custom tune.

I gotta admit I get sick of hearing "spend more money and get a black bear tune" as the answer always or "just drive slower" (flame away I can take it )

 

He asked for a "simple" gas mileage increase in his vehicle, spending so much more on a tune he would never recoup his investment.

 

Not sure if you have a gas or diesel but Hypertech has that programmer for both and I see it is alot cheaper than the Hypertech ones with all the "extra features" which is the one I have, but putting that aside and referring to just the mileage increase mine on my gas engine easily gets 1.5 more mpg in the premium fuel mode and slightly less in 87 octane mode.

 

Oh, and I forgot to add I have 2006 1500 4x4.
