Emissions Data Log Questions

I went to get my emissions checked today but they said there was no readings. I have an edge programmer and I rest the ECM back to stock last night so I guess it cleared all the emissions info in the computer. How long would it take to get all that back in the computer?

Yep,thats exactly what happened,you cleared the codes when you went back to stock.

I believe it takes 50 miles to reset.

Ok thanks. I might wait until 100 miles than and then go back next week.

On the ODBII system the vehicle has to complete (successfuly) tests on all the different sub-systems within the overall pollution control system. I think they call it being emission check ready. Some of the sub systems require a certain amount of driving before they conduct their test, like the fuel tank check. I think there are about 7 different sub-systems. You should be good to go after 100 miles. Otherwise anybody could pass the test by disconnecting their battery just before they went for the emission check.
